Super Coupon®

The Super Coupon® allows you to qualify a welder for a broad range of ASME Section IX welder essential variables with one test. These dimensions will not appear on a pipe chart because this material is a custom size, made to our specifications in mill quantities.

This coupon is available with a 37-1/2° bevel on one or both ends, and with a land or knife edge. If you need a different bevel detail for this material, please reach out to [email protected].

A successful weld test on a pair of Super Coupons® will qualify the welder for diameters of 1" and greater, for the maximum weld deposit required, on materials in P-number groups 1-15F, 34, and 41-49, as limited by F-No. (see QW-423, QW-433, QW-452.1(b), and QW-452.3 in ASME Section IX).
