About Fischer Engineering Company
Fischer Engineering Company was founded in 1976 in Dayton, Ohio, by Glenn Fischer, PE, CWI, graduate of The Ohio State University. The company originally provided weld testing and welding engineering services to companies in the local Dayton area. Out of the need for reliable testing equipment, Glenn Fischer developed and patented his own bend testing equipment. In 2020, Ben Finney, PE, CWI, purchased the company after working there as a welding engineer for over a decade.
